Hairstyles 2013
Continuing with hairstyle 2013 theme, I would like to share with you several ideas on short hairstyles for the season. Long hairstyles definitely prevailed at the runways during New York Fashion Week, but I was still able to spot some short hairstyles 2013, which deserved our attention.
If you are considering getting a haircut this season, always-in-style bob is one of the options. Bob does not necessarily means “same old same old”, and Spring 2013 collections give us great examples on stylish and fresh bob variations.
There is wavy bob with side swept bang, presented to us by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013. This kind of hairstyle looks as if it is very easy to style. Overall, bob is very easy to style.
Here is the version of classy bob which we have seen at Alice+Olivia Spring 2013 fashion show.  This kind of bob is elegant, classy and always trendy.
Carolina Herrera Spring 2013 fashion show offers us a different variation of bob. There is no bang, and the hair is styled to open up a forehead and a face.

Speaking of opening up a face, Monika Chiang Spring 2013 offered her own variation of bob without a bang – contrary to the previous bob, this one has some volume at the crown. Any fashionista can try styling her bob in these two different ways.
Personally I really liked BCBG Max Azria’s version of bob – wavy hair and zigzag parting. It looks as the model is too busy for sophisticated and time-consuming hairstyle, and she just knows that she is beautiful the way she is – with relaxed and natural looking bob. Love love this variation of bob!
Here is the shoulder-length bob from BCBG Max Azria Spring 2013 fashion show preaching the same idea – modern women are too busy and too confident to spend time for creating unrealistic hairstyles daily. It is all about simplicity and natural beauty (the hair just has to be really healthy-looking).
For someone who loves really short hairstyles, here is another version of bob – from Christian Siriano Spring 2013 fashion show. This kind of hairstyle is definitely not for every face shape. Personally, I stay away from this kind of bob because I have a round-shaped face, and this bob and short bang would only accentuate that. But if you are lucky owner of oval-shaped face you can easily go for this kind of bob. Long faces are also perfect for this bob.

And last, but not least, there are a couple of short hairstyles 2013 brought to us by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 fashion show. Here is pixie haircut, which I absolutely love. I have always wanted to cut my hair that short, but have never had enough courage to actually do that. I especially love how this almost boyish haircut meshes well with the clothing the model is wearing. Although she is wearing man-like hairstyle, jacket and tie, she manages to look so feminine and fragile. I believe that the whole idea of getting a boyish haircut like this is to accentuate your feminine beauty.
And here is another edgy short hairstyle from Phylosophy fashion show. Again, the very short bang calls for almost ideal face shape, but I could see how many fashionistas, who are unlike me are more decisive about cutting their hair, would want to try something like this.
Good luck with finding your favorite 2013 short hairstyle! I hope that a change, such as getting a new hairstyle, will give you the best mood and lots of positive energy for the new season!
