Hairstyles 2013 Trends Biography
m a huge fan of this look, and have done it to many people and do it to my own hair as well. I am a pro hairdresser, i went to toni and guy academy, and this look was hard for me to learn, it can be tricky, i would recommend instead of lightnening all over choose a haircolor that will lift your roots, as long as you have virgin hair if you use a high developer and patience to allow the color to fully develop according to the manufactuer(20 or 30 volume, if your hair is extremely dark and healthy maybe a 40, and go to a beauty supply and try to find a creme color line like Satin[I love that brand]) and apply it root to mid shaft, which goes about an inch away from your scalp to about an inch from your ends, so anywhere in the midshaft you would like to see the lighter pieces, then apply the lighter in small sections from where the color is (midshaft) thru the ends and be patient! lightner turns hair orange because you have to get it past a certain level because hair has natural undertones the darker the warmer(red, orange, yellow) your hair is. that is a great diy look, but I HIGHLY recommened leaving it to the pros!
No matter what fashion metropolis is in the limelight at the time – New York, London or Milan – they are always hotbeds of new style trends. Many of these trends take the world by storm. Catwalk styles inspire bloggers, stars, us and all who are interested in new styles. We like to share with you images of our favourite hairstyle finds for the 2013 spring/summer season as shown in Milan Fashion Week shows
Naturally, fashion takes centre stage in fashion shows. However, hairstyle and make-up are very close runners-up and at times quite likely steal the show. After all, only in combination fashion, hairstyle and make-up add up to the elusive quality called style. Still, hairstyles are our first interest and our eyes therefore quite quickly move to the hairdos for a long close look. Spell-bound we watch and wonder whether we can warm up to the new hairstyles.
2013 Hairstyle Trends as Seen in Milan
We liked what we saw in Milan. Actually, we liked it very much! The up and coming hair fashion shows new ideas while also offering up makeovers of the classics. The hairstyles shown by the models for Byblos Milano really caught our fancy (see the photos in our gallery). The hair of the models is parted in the middle and braided close to the parting on both sides to ear level. The parallel braids are neatly secured using a thin wisp of hair. The remaining long hair is allowed to flow freely over the back.
The soft braid creations by Jo No Fui, the natural mock bob version introduced by Kristina Ti and the half back look (or partially gelled back look) featured by Krizia appealed to us very much. We also can't wait to try out the Gucci chignon version with the slightly fanned out chignon. You may also like the hairstyle shown by Gabriele Colangelo. Her models use gel to sleek back a wide strands of hair on the crown the head; the sleeked back strand of hair is secured with two crossed bobby pins.
2013 Hairstyle Trends: The Braided Chignon
Models for Jo No Fui fashions showed these young-looking modern braid creations.
Instructions: Starting over the forehead, the top hair is loosely French braided toward one side. The braid is then continued as simple plain braid to the end of the hair. Tautly gather all remaining hair to a ponytail. Now braid this ponytail as well and arrange the braid into a chignon. The sideways braided hair is then arranged and secured with pins on top of the already formed chignon
Jon Reyman for Aveda created a simple, just-woke-up style for the Charlotte Ronson Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show. “This is carefree hair,” said Reyman. “Effortless, natural texture paired with a matte finish make for a pretty and pure expression.” The inspiration behind Charlotte Ronson’s Spring/Summer ’13 Collection is a mix between classical meets street, “My inspiration was a young girl, living in eighties New York City,” said Ronson. Having “romantic, aquatic and sporty elements.” Reyman wanted to complement Charlotte’s spring/summer collection by having the right balance between straight and wavy, clean and dirty hair. Read on to find out which Aveda hair products were used to get this look at home and check out some behind-the-scenes footage of the show:
